Basic rundown of what you have to do from here on out as a recruit:


1)Get to know as many people in House Forsaken as you can. Play games, chat, post on the forums, do it all. As HF is a community, it is required that you be known by the members. If you feel you are unable to continue the recruitment process, or simply find that House Forsaken is not the community you're looking for, you are still welcome to visit the forums and games as a guest of HF.

2) Skill is not a requirement. Character is the most important characteristic of a new recruit. How you carry yourself in and out of games will determine if you are the type of person we're looking for. If you are the best at a game but act like an immature douche bag...we don't want you.

3) A "Tag" is required to point out that you're an HF recruit. Once you've been accepted as a recruit, add the recruit tag to the front of your name, which is [HF-r]. Once you've been accepted as a full member, your tag will change to [HF]. This just states that you’re a part of House Forsaken.

4) The three main ways to maintain contact with fellow members is through Steam, the forums, or Ventrilo. If you need help setting any of these up, just contact any member and they'll be glad to assist you. Vent info can be found HERE. The Steam Group can be found HERE.

5) Be active. If you're inactive for a long period of time without contacting one of the leaders, you will be removed from the roster/recruiting list.

6) Remember, you're not just joining the Team Fortress 2 division of House Forsaken, you're joining the entire house. You can gain access to all forums and guilds that we support for other games.


Recruitment Process

Initiate your recruitment phase by registering in the forums. Once you have submitted your registration and confirmed your account, go to your User CP and sign up for the Team Fortress 2 User Group. Create a thread in the 'Team Fortress 2: Recruitment' forum stating your intention to join and using the following template as a guide:

1. Name
2. Age
3. Location
4. Link to Steam Profile

5. Average hours played per week
6. What is your past gaming experience relevant to TF2?
7. What are your favorite class?
8. Are you interested in competitive play?

9. How did you find out about HF?
10. Why do you want to join HF?
11. Why should HF want you?
12. Any other info you would like us to know?

Once it's been authorized, add the [HF-r] tag to your name and play. Post in the forums on a regular basis both in the Team Fortress 2 and General Discussion forums. The recruitment phase lasts 14 days. After the two week period, your membership will be discussed by the TF2 Staff.
